Trump : Gone down as he is going to f**k tax reform up

Trudeau- Gone down, but I never really liked him anyway

Modi - Gone down (same reasons as OP)

May - Gone down by a lot

Macron - Gone up if I only look at his policies, but gone down personally. But the chance of me voting Macron in the first round of the 2022 elections definitely has gone up (though I guess I'd still vote for the Republican candidate unless he/she is corrupt).

Merkel - I was 8 when she was first elected. The first time I formed an opinion about her I thought she was super competent (compared to Sarkozy who always had his scandals) and I basically saw her as Europe's saviour (I was 13 or so?). I now consider her a tilt HP so my opinion of her has gone down, as the German economic boom mainly was caused by wage moderation and Schröder's reforms and she really botched up the refugee crisis (causing the rise of the AfD...).

Bonus:

Mark Rutte - Definitely gone up. I'm not sure when I first formed an opinion but initially I was pretty neutral. When I started getting interested in politics I considered him (or actually his governments) too left-wing, but I started moving to the centre(-right) and I also started to appreciate the VVD-PvdA government more so my opinion of him has gone up. I also became an insufferable party hack after joining the VVD.

David Cameron - Has gone up. The first thing I remember about him was reading an article about him on how he was the worst UK PM ever. But when I started to follow politics I realized I agreed with him on many issues so he even became my favourite world leader for a while Tongue.

François Hollande - Gone up. I started following politics when he first was elected and I really didn't like his left-wing policies. But he gradually moved to the centre and he actually pushed for some positive reforms after Valls became PM in 2014.

Barack Obama - If you really only look at my first opinion gone down obviously. I was 11 and Obamania hit Europe. But I also liked Bush and McCain because they looked like friendly people (and they also had cool names).

Modi - Gone down (same reasons as OP)

He didn't even try to justify his opinion, though?

I meant that he was elected while promising huge reforms while not really achieving much (I assume the OP meant this).
