My personal opinion is an HP. I could see gay people supporting someone like Rubio or Kasich, but under Trump? No. I cannot understand their logic.

Neither. If someone is LGBT but agrees with the GOP on more issues they should vote GOP. Doesn't make them any better or worse than anyone else in my opinion. I think the LGBT vote will slowly drift towards being more even, although that may be stalled if more figures like Roy Moore gain power in the party.

The only way the LGBT vote will become more even, something I don't see ever happening, is if the GOP would stop electing homophobic assholes like Marsha Blackburn, Mike Pence, Kelli Ward or, like you said, Roy Moore. But under Trump, that wont happen.

Meh, people can vote however they want, regardless of who they dig in a relationship.

I don't agree with some of their votes, but its their right to vote nonetheless

The OP and the poster above are perfect examples of people who kindly need to piss off. Preferably to hell.

All kidding aside, I like DavidB and Sunrise (I can't say with 100% certainty that this label applies to both of them, but I believe that to be the case), so I have no reason to vote "HP".

There are obviously FFs and HPs like in any community, but I'm goonna vote FF because I know two who are FFs (Sunrise and DavidB., like Cath mentioned), and because on principle, I start with a favourable view of LGBTQ people until they prove me otherwise Tongue

FFs for those trying to move the party in a more sensible direction while being passionate advocates for fiscal responsibility and a strong foreign policy.

HP for the Milos.

What do you have against MILO?

He's everything wrong with modern conservatism.

They're referring to Milo Yiannopoulos.

I used to be a Republican, and I am G, so I know where most of LGBT Republicans are coming from. I was in Log Cabin Republicans, and been to three of their national conventions.

I wish LGBT Republicans would stop hoping for judicial activism, i.e., decisions like Lawrence v. Texas, U.S. v. Windsor,, and Obergefell v. Hodges.
