GPP (leftist)

Maduro isn't the best leader, but the opposition is considerably worse. The promises of the Bolivarian Revolution must be realized and, despite its numerous flaws, the GPP (coupled with a proper social movement) is the only possible path to its fulfillment.

If you were arguing for Ortega to lead the GPP, that would be one thing. As it is, you are supporting a dictatorship, and you sound like right wingers who defend Pinochet.

Was their anything revolutionary about Chavez or Maduro other than that they were spending huge amounts of oil money?

Anyway, it's quite disgusting to see so many people voting for the GPP given Maduro's record on human rights. But muh welfare spending (and I don't know much about the opposition, but since it's an alliance of different parties I doubt they're all hard-right Temerite neoliberals).
