Oh my God, the D primary for Georgia governor next year features two former state representatives named Stacey. That's the entire field so far.

Cagle is the favorite, I guess. This seems like a pretty uninteresting election. Is Kemp some kind of hardline Kobach imitator? I imagine that's the type of stuff a Republican Sec of State (in any state, really) does besides plan to run for Governor later.

Cagle's lead is entirely built on name recognition. I doubt he's going to win it - think John "The Ox" Oxendine.
