I can safely say the Hillary wing of 2008 was a different beast entirely to the 2016 Hillary wing.

Somewhat true, but there was definitely a large contingent that supported her in both years due to thinking she was a battle tested and reliable workhorse that had the best qualifications and experience. Along with thinking she was a better bet to actually get things accomplished (a key argument that stayed the same in both 2008 and 2016.) All that old fashioned stuff nobody cares about anymore. Wink And before someone says it...yeah, also the people that supported her just because she was a woman and/or a Clinton.
