I knew Deborah Ross when she was the director of the state ACLU. I was impressed with her then (and now).

Barbara Comstock's husband was my high school principal lol. She and Chip were nice enough I guess -- I mean, they didn't really differentiate themselves from the countless number of generic country club-Republicans I grew up with, but they were fine people I suppose.

My current HoD rep is also someone I interacted with during high school, and he was a cool guy.

Just a handful of city council members. Nothing substantial. Each was incredibly down to earth and friendly, but also kind of outwardly exuded ambition.

No, but I've known some people who I suspect will one day be bigwigs in the GOP/FL-GOP. If I'm right, I'll be able to say I worked with them on their first major campaign when I was just 15.

I'm also pretty sure my buddy will be a state legislator one day. He's a good old boy, a true Florida cracker, and he has a rich father and a grandfather who was one of the last Dixiecrats in the legislator before the switch, so he basically already fits the profile of most FL conservative white male Republican State Reps from North Florida Tongue.

I'm buddies with a state representative and a few municipal politicians. At the end of the day, they're just normal people with a lot of drive.
