House of Cards has gotten really stale.
House of Cards was definitely at its best when it depicted Frank rising to power. I'd say the best spot to end the show would have been right at the end of the second season, when he finally becomes president. I've watched all the subsequent seasons, but seeing him essentially plateau isn't as interesting as when he was getting there. I have the same attitude to it that I do towards the back half of the second season
