It would be a glorious day for the Union.

Remember, a lot of people voted for this clown.  People you know.  And even worse, a lot of those people still support him.  It isn't just Trump's failure of character, it is the failure of his supporters.

Put the General on the spot and insensitively brought up a painful and sensitive subject in his life at the same time. Well done.

Obama quit talking about Dubya once he was elected. After Obama was inaugurated, Dubya's personality no longer mattered.

Man, Kellyanne was very specifically (and horribly) trying to get away from this question this morning. Looks like he's givin it the ol' double down.

She was asked what she thought about Trump claiming that his predecessors didn't make the calls:

I think Trump should just tell Obama that he has a crush on him. Go for it!

A man who has to defer blame to another person on why he didn't do something is not a leader. A leader takes responsibility for his actions whether he is completely at fault or not. Donald Trump is worthless and everything you should aspire NOT to be.

Yes, she was the primary next of kin, but a call from the President is a separate courtesy that could go to Kelly in this case as he was a serving General.

Unbelievable !
If I was Kelly, I would go immediately into the oval office, and tell the Orange-Haired Clown not to mention my dead son (in any way, shape or form), ever again !

Dumb Leader would much prefer that the people and the press get into a he-said kerfluffle on the painful issue of his own Chief of Staff's loss than pay attention to the fact that Trumpolini is a terrible human being who is grossly unfit for the office at which he is failing. Truly base and despicable behavior, even for him.

Or you could ask him if he got an email from HER. Why isn't the fake news media asking that?

It's okay. Republicans will be rewarded with more seats in elected offices because that's just how this country is Smiley Pardon my cynicism.

Whenever I'm sad I remind myself that Trump will likely be dead within the next 15 years and imagining how much security they're going to have to keep around his grave so prevent hundreds of people every day from taking a s**t on it.

Sigh, Trump stirring the pot again.

But cmon guys, a lot of fine people still have faith in Trump and want to see him do good for the country. Please don't offend good people just because of some racists and sexist deplorable. I don't want to see Donald Trump die. I want to see him become a much better president, but I highly doubt he will. Hillary did a terrible job making the case to working class Americans, was very elitist and dismissive to a lot of Americans, among other big problems.

We're going to need some Trump voters to get a big win in 2020 and to tell America we truly reject Trumpsim.

This goes for the other side too though -- a lot of people fear what Trump will do to the country (for good reason - he's insanely impulsive, narcissistic, easy to anger, says awfully scary things to miniorities, etc.). It's crazy how some Trump supporters have a complete lack of empathy and think they they are right just because Trump won the electoral college. People voted for Trump for a lot of different reasons -- you can't just assume everyone who voted for Trump wants the same thing.

Insulting each other is exactly what the billionaire plutocrats want us to do -- go at each others throats for dumb social issues while they profit off of policies that don't benefit the working class Americans. Unfortunately, a lot of these policies that benefit the plutocrats happen to be from the republicans, but the democrats need to do a better job in making policies that benefit the American worker as well.
