Should be noted that Jones has been running ads 100% unopposed since in the runoff. Moore and the Republicans have essentially ceded the airwaves to him.

Why is that? Do we know? The Mercers can afford ads.

Maybe they think it would be a waste of money.

Outside of extremely rural and isolated areas, prosecuting the Klan is not a liability. The areas that Jones needs swings in a not areas where a whole lot of people would like to be associated with the Klan. That isn't to say that he'll win, but I don't think that most people in Alabama are angry that he prosecuted actual murderers.
Not angry but it still doesn’t help him in any aay

Well, in the event of pigs flying against the backdrop of a blue moon, the first and most critical thing Jones needs to do to win is max out turnout in the Black Belt. He needs to annihilate what's left of Moore's small AA base, and emphasizing that part of his background would be a good way to do it (especially after certain comments Moore has made relating to race).

Only the Republican Party could manage to lose a race in a state like this.

There's something happening here
What it is, ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a bible over there
Telling me I've got to beware

I think we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look Moore's going down

It won't happen...but if Jones getting elected he'd probably be the most out of place Senator in the country.   Who the heck would he align with?   Lol.

I'd love to see more Southern and rural Democrats in Governorships, the House, and Senate. So, I'm definitely hoping Jones can somehow pull this off, although I highly doubt that he will.

I could buy Jones being at 42%, and maybe winning 10-15% of the "undecided" voters.
