He has been a total disaster , and I would say he is the 2nd worst Commish (of 4 major sports) in modern times with exception of Selig.

Even before the whole anthem issue arised , he bungled the handling of Deflategate ,and due to that his handling of Deflategate dominated headlines for 18 months. Before that was his total mismanagement of the Ray Rice situation , which then resulted in the handling of that situation dominating headlines throughout the 2014 season. Even if this anthem issue gets resolved, there likely will be another issue what dominates headlines due to Goodell bungling of that issue too.

HP. He didn't punish the Patriots hard enough for their disgusting behavior. Brady should've been thrown out of the league and Belichick should be behind bars.

He's not fit to shine Pete Rozelle or Paul Tagilabue's shoes.

However...Bud Selig (MLB) and Mark Emmert (NCAA) are far worse.

Whoa...I'm a Jets fan and even I think arresting Belichick was excessive. A lifetime ban (either for Spygate or Deflategate...take your pick) seems for appropriate. As for Brady, a lifetime ban seems slightly too extreme. I would have been happy with one season.

HP, one of the worse things about the NFL. Also, he caused all the other worst things about the NFL

the first part is fine, the second clearly isn't though.

Goodell is an empty suit propped up by the owners.  If you have a problem with Goodell you have a problem with the league.  Take your dollars elsewhere.

Remember when he said "I think you still have to look at a lot of aspects of marijuana use.  Is it something that can be negative to the health of our players?"

Concussions are one of the worst things about football. Football does not equal the NFL.
