Bell all the way. A simple platform that I can agree with. Protect the constitution and keep the union together at all costs.

Lincoln.  The costs of keeping the Union together would have been too high in moral terms.  This assuming I didn't have the hindsight of knowing that voting Lincoln would have cost over 600,000 lives.
