we called them thongs when I was little, I haven't worn them since I was like 7 or something. I don't really care if people wear them or not. I wouldn't, don't seem very comfortable.

They were until the 90s, then g-string bikini bottoms stole the name. We did call them both flip flops and thongs....both names are kind of fun to say. Not as fun as Paducah, but close.
