This is it, folks, the ultimate clash of the Labour titans: Shore v. Benn (with Kaufman and Prescott fighting for the Deputy Leadership). Who will it be?

Two days.

Benn/Kaufman - after the last poll, I’m no longer Shore as to whether or not been would have Benn more electable than sure.

Shore and Prescott, though I'm clearly not voting Labour in the General.

Benn/Prescott

And they each should get around 26-27 votes if the votes from the first round move in an entirely logical way (Benn getting most of the Meacher vote, Prescott getting most of the Heffer/Dunwoody vote). But these things can work in strange ways.

Shore, and he should form a new left-nationalist party to contest the next election if Benn wins.

Benn himself was a left-nationalist in some respects.

I guess if Benn loses then that's it for him as far as leadership goes.

Will be interesting to see what the future brings for the likes of Livingstone, Galloway, Corbyn, Nellist and McDonnell in his TL.

Yeah, I’m a Shore/Kaufman->Benn/Kaufman voter.

Benn is still 62, so technically he might still have another run if he loses and there's another leadership election in the next couple of years.

Aye, they should be showing up in the coming terms of the TL, particularly the final four. Livingstone is a much less relevant character, having lost the first London Mayoral Election (1987) to the famous actor recruited as a candidate by the Tories.
