There are two counties in Portland Metro which are in Washington but we are not counting them for this poll.

Washington since I already live here.

I like WaCo more than the city itself, and especially the eastside suburbs (Gresham, Troutdale). If I had to live somewhere in Portland it would be North Portland or downtown. Plus the traffic on the westside is usually better than the eastside.

Washington County. Not too urban, yet close enough to the city for convenience and has good quality of life.

Other: Clark County, WA. No state income tax, plus the ability to go across the river and shop without paying much in the way of sales taxes.

Agreed. Specifically, I'd want to live in Multnomah but west of the Willamette.

In my opinion Washington County >Multnomah County as

- Cost of living is less in Washington county

- Silicon Forest is located in Washington county

- Nike and Columbia sportswear are headquartered  in Washington county

- Median Income is higher in Washington county than Multnomah county( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Oregon_locations_by_per_capita_income)

- There is less traffic in Washington county

Multnomah because only Portland proper is acceptable.

Clackamas. If I ever moved to Oregon I would prefer striking natural beauty in my backyard, so somewhere a bit in the outskirts, but still connected enough to big city Portland and Washington County. I am a suburbia guy at heart, have lived in suburbia my whole life really.
