After a crowded primary Amy Klobuchar wins the Democratic Primary by winning the Iowa Caucuses, and using that as springboard to win all of the all of the non-southern primaries/caucuses (which went to either Joe Biden and Cory Booker). She selects Phil Murphy (who is serving in his third year as New Jersey Governor).

Donald Trump and Mike Pence win renomination.

Who wins, and why (with maps)?

Klobuchar wins the 2012 map plus NE-2 and NC, but minus IA, ME-2, and maybe NH.

Klobuchar/Murphy 348
Trump/Pence 190

Could explain how she wins North Carolina?
I think just the general nationwide D swing will be enough to flip NC, just like it did in 2008

Klobuchar/Murphy: 308 EV
Trump/Pence: 230 EV

Klobuchar is a fairly uncontroversial nominee who fails to inspire exceptional turnout among progressive and minority voters. However, owing to her uncontroversial nature, she cannot be realistically tied to groups like the #resistance or antifa. Klobuchar's running mate also fails to inspire increased turnout among progressives and minorities. Nevertheless, she wins back enough traditionally Democratic voters to return WI/MI/PA to the fold, while an upgraded ground game turns out enough voters to win FL.

Klobuchar/Murphy wins no matter the results of the green states.
