What an awful state for the race. Two bored trust fund rich guys over the career public servant.

If anyone could lose to Rauner or unnamed republican, it might be Pritzker/Kennedy. Gross.

If Rauner survives a primary, he's favored against either Pritzker or Kennedy.

Lean R in a Rauner vs Kennedy/Pritzker matchup, Tossup in a Rauner vs anyone else matchup, Lean D, any Democrat vs any non-Rauner Republican (except maybe Bob Dold).

Lol. I'm someone who wants Rauner to win, but this is not a lean R race by any means.

Shift each left one and I agree. They're really all garbage candidates, though.

These candidates seem like trash. Typical for Illinois. Luckily for them, they'll probably win because Rauner (or whatever whacko might beat him in the primary) sucks even worse. But if IL Dems manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory here due to their penchant for terrible candidates, that would be terrible news for redistricting.

How sad that Dems are about to allow someone to slide to the nomination solely as a result of the amount of money he has put into campaigns in the past and can put in here. Illinois should be a case study in the need for campaign finance reform.

I'll vote for him if he's the nominee, but I will not vote for him in the primary.

Guys, no matter who the Democratic nominee is, this race, in no form or in the slightest, favors Rauner. I agree Pritzker isn't the best candidate (I favor Biss) but I can't see him losing to one of the weakest and least-popular incumbents in the country, in a heavy democratic state, in an anti-republican year.
