I remember when the original version of this was being made on AH.com, I contributed by cleaning up the southern New England coast. It worked out fine, except I totally mutilated Essex County.

Oh awesome. Can I see? My criteria for cleaning it up is to remove every extra pixel on the lines so that they are only one pixel thin (and for corners, remove the corner pixel). It's hard to get them all cuz they're so tiny and hard to notice!

On gimp image editor, it is as easy to make those changes to remove the water and international special coloring as just a dozen or so clicks, which is really the only changes I made.
