All through the long years of national struggle — in times of grief and understanding, of peace and fear and civil war — the free states of the West have been the hope of all those who believe in freedom and opportunity for all mankind. We have built our society on the proposition that no man or woman is better or more worthy than any other; that a government who claims to have been consecrated "of, by, and for the people" ought to live that sentiment in practice; that the free citizen knows no lord or master but the truth; and that no matter how he dress himself, "the humblest citizen in all the land, when clad in the armor of a righteous cause, is stronger than all the hosts of error."

Fianna Frémont is a voice for the common people of the West. We are a regional party for the integrity of the commonwealth, for the Fremontian system of parliamentary democracy, and for the equal treatment of all citizens regardless of race, sex, gender, religion, age, or nation of origin. We believe in a free market – but a free market that is balanced with laws to ensure fair play, honesty and competition, and equal opportunity for all citizens. We reject the falsehood that the interests of the dollar must rank before the rights of individuals; we contend that liberty and opportunity are the inseparable cornerstones of a free society – to threaten one is to threaten and annihilate the other.

We believe that the regions are the garden of the republic. 'Burn down the Congress and leave our regions, and your government will spring up again as if by magic; but destroy our regions and the grass will grow in the halls of every office of the Capitol.' We therefore stand for the humble right to govern our own affairs, to settle questions in our own way, and to have the federal Union as a partner — not a master.

Winter 2018 Party Conference

Greetings, Fremontians! In light of the impending by-elections, there are a few matters we ought to take on straight-away, the first of these being of course the selection of our parliamentary ticket. Considering the vote is just days away, we will dispense with the usual formalities and proceed directly to an endorsement vote. All registered members of Fianna Frémont are eligible to vote in this election; additionally, votes by registered members of other regional parties on the center-left will be counted at one-half the value of votes by full members.
