This bill is much needed, so hopefully we can strongly address and condemn the killing of innocent people. This issue needs awareness. Let's give it that.

Oughtn't this be styled a resolution?

Parliamentary questions aside, the plight of the Rohingya has become a moral crisis of global proportions, and inaction on the part of the world's great powers is no longer excusable.

Yes I think it should be styled as a resolution. But the text itself refers to itself as an act so it would require an amendment to change it.
