After the early, May 3 2019 election, in which Nicky Morgan leads her party to over perform all expectations, maxing out at 308 seats and entering into a coalition with the Liberal Democrats, who have 31 seats. Vince Cable resigns due to health problems, and Greg Mulholland, who won his seat back with a stunning 51% of the vote, replaces him.

Lammy and Kinnock are the main two here who did not endorse Corbyn in 2015.

Abbott for the fun that would entail.

Lammy and Kinnock are the main two here who did not endorse Corbyn in 2015.

Surely the main one would be the one who stood against him, even if he did join his Shadow Cabinet.

Anyhow, my thoughts:

Diane Abbott - Nah, controversial and probably too past it by then.
Andy Burnham - Seems content with his current job, and not really viable after two lackluster attempts already.
David Lammy - Lammy as a future Labour leader is mostly a late noughties meme. Clive Lewis is much more likely.
Stephen Kinnock - Like Hilary Benn, will probably always be lower key than his father.
John McDonnell - Too past it and not particularly liked by the PLP (even for someone on the Hard Left)
Cat Smith - Possible, but Rayner and Long-Bailey are talked of more.

Cat Smith would probably be my choice.

Absurd scenario, but in that case I'd need to see the platforms they were standing on. The two I would rule out are Kinnock & Abbott - neither deserve to be listed. I've voted McDonnell but would be equally pleased with Smith. Lammy & Burnham are not necessarily on my wing but have proven capable and cooperative with a left agenda - so I wouldn't be too upset with them either.
