Beyoncé isn't just overrated, she's bad.

Thank you. This is what most of us think, but if you say it in public people call you racist.

I call you racist because of how much you wear the white hood, not because of your views on Beyoncé. Also because Dinesh D’Souza told me all Democrats are racist.

Abolish Congress and the President and replace them with a Parliament/Prime Minister system with fairly-drawn districts.
Are you kidding? Why not we gerrymander them.

Now that I think about it, the Seinfeld finale wasn't all that bad.

Except legally ...

Oh, of course, but that wasn't what my airing of grievance (or lack thereof) is regarding.

I believe that black magic*, ghosts, and hauntings are real based on real-life experiences I've had and have had all my life.  I don't talk about them openly because anyone who does is instantly labeled 'crazy.'

*No, I don't practice it myself.

Some unpopular opinions:

- I'm mostly against direct democracy and referendums. They are frequently used by populists and the loudest demagogue often wins. And I'm especially against referendums on certain "rights". Like on gay marriage. Basic rights shouldn't be decided by a majority-minority vote.  I think referendums should only be used for controversial construction projects like railways, bridges or solar parks.

- Tougher gun control laws are fine, but doesn't solve the real problem. It's an utopia, but I would actually like to see the second amendment modified: "The right to keep and bear arms should only be granted to defend people's homes. States are authorized to regulate access and use of guns." Only licensed and regulated stores should be allowed to sell guns.

While I don't believe in those things, you couldn't pay me enough to go sit in a supposedly "haunted" hotel room or something at night, LOL ... absolutely nothing to gain.  If I'm right and they're fake, big deal; if I'm wrong, I'm in for a terrible night.  So, I guess while I don't "believe in them," I'm not very confident in my disbelief. Tongue  Is this how atheists feel??  LOL.

I almost went to a haunted hospital in my freshman year of college.  It was supposed to be me and two friends, one of whom was an atheist, but he backed out at the last minute playing it off as a joke.

I never got to see the hospital. Sad

Huh, interesting concept.

I think I have enough unpopular opinions that are widely known on here, but in addition to that, I'll say that reading Kennedy's pompous nonsense of a majority opinion in Obergefell further pushed me on the side of strict constructionism.

I’m really grossed out by couples (especially two men) who have a 20 year or higher age gap. Like, when one partner was an adult, the other was a baby.

I feel the same way, especially when it comes to heterosexual couples where the man is twenty years older.  Am I the only one who mistakes him for being her father?  Tongue

And what does that say about her?

I want to see the Democrat attempts to challenge current Republican gerrymanders in court fail, because Democrats are probably going to win in a large landslide to the point where it does not matter in 2018, and then it will be Democrats who get to draw the gerrymanders in 2021.

But then when Republicans win their next landslide, they get to gerrymander again...

This is what I would regard as an unpopular opinion within my party (but, naturally, not one I see as necessarily 'bad'):

I don't believe in anthropogenic climate change.  While I do acknowledge that we have had an impact on the climate at least since the Neolithic era, and especially with the advent of the industrial revolution, it pales by comparison to other natural cyclical factors including the sun that have powered climate change since our planet was born.  I just cannot see how a trace gas that composes only 0.04% of the atmosphere could wreak so much havoc.

I believe that Satanism is a very prevalent problem. It's not being practiced by angsty goth kids - it's being practiced by the elites. Google Howard Rubin. Or Johnny Gosch if you want an example of how long this has been going on.
