In my mind, voting for a pro-choice candidate when there is a pro-life candidate in the race, makes you an accomplice to murder.  That could never be prosecuted, but that's how I feel.

I feel the same about Hillary. Anyone who voted for her out of the genuine belief that she'd be a good President as opposed to just not being Trump is by definition a very, very bad person.

You should chamge your opinion on this.

By viewing it you contribute to a demand for it, which necessarily creates a demand for the sexual assault of children.  Furthermore, even if there is no obvious sexual assault of children in the material, chances are said children were either coaxed into performing by predators who intend to distribute the material or the material was leaked by the originally intended recipient and distributed.

There is literally no case where a production of such material has knowingly and consensually been produced by all parties involved for people in general to view.  First and foremost because children can not meaningfully consent.

I do, however, believe children who produce such material should not be held criminally liable for it as they sometimes are.

What Al Franken did (kiss & touch other people in inappropriate parts without consent) does not decrease my opinion of him since a vast majority of adults; both men and women, have done such a thing at some point in their lives.  I would be more surprised to be told by an omniscient that any particular random person had not done such a thing than to hear that they had done such a thing.  More so, he was in the small minority who was outed as doing such.

I don't believe that a teenager taking a "suggestive" photo of themselves should be considered illegal child pornography. If they did it themselves, I don't see what the problem is. Criminalizing teens for it usually does more harm than good.

I actually agree with this. It puts some 15 y/o who wanted to see their girlfriend/boyfriend naked into the same category that a serial rapist belongs in, and it demonizes them forever.

here's another one:

I actually like the MPAA's prudish stance on profanity and the word f[inks]...from an artistic standpoint. True, it's a very stupid rule that a movie can get an R rating just for having 4 or 5 f bombs, and that 16 year olds can't watch such a movie without mental scarring or whatever...but it means that if a movie seeks a PG-13 rating, they'll limit and the word can be very impactful when used instead of cheapened if used constantly a la Tarantino-style. Not that there isn't value to the level of that word in his movies' conversation, but used sparingly it can have a different type of power.

Remember Wolverine's cameo in X-Men First Class? That's the sort of thing I'm talking about.
