Clearly East Virginia. I went to the Williamsburg area and Virginia Beach once as a kid and it was amazing.

Virginia without NoVA. Also, the previous two comments are largely accurate, adding in IT contractors, lobbyists, federal bureaucrats to the mix as well.

Fair enough. There are also the other major VA cities--Hampton Roads, Richmond, Charlottesville, etc., all of which are rather nice. Appalachian scenery, however, has lately grown on me.
