Noooooo. Separate reasons why Ohio is on the same list as Bama and Mississippi. If Ohio had gone for Hillary, I would have tipped my cap, said thank you very much, and still hated it as my least favorite state (for non political reasons).

Naturally, I want to kick out as many Safe D votes as possible:

-California: Independent nation
-New York: Give to Canada
-Washington: Give to Canada

(Illinois might make more sense from a purely partisan perspective, but it might not be sustainable to have that crazy of an enclave)

From a cultural perspective, I would probably kick out the three states that form the Pacific Coast but give the interiors of those states to their neighboring states to save those people from whatever crazy stuff The People's Republic of California and Ecotopia would decide to do.

That is not relevant. What is relevant is the beauty of the state map. Having PA spike down like that, jammed between NJ and MD, would be an excrescence. It would be akin to the Xmas holiday. No, just no.

Vermont just elected a Republican governor, LOL.  Anyway:

1) Merge the Dakotas to make one Dakota
2) Reunite the Virginias to heal ourselves from the Civil War and possibly piss off Ice Spear
3) Combine Mississippi and Alabama
