I always write in black. Other colors hurt my eyes.

A mix of both.  Black 60% of the time.

Write-in: Grey (though if I use a pen I don't care, though if I am editing something I love a good red pen! Grin)

Black, usually. Not that I've never used blue, or even green or red.

I almost always use black, or red when editing. I very rarely use blue, and never use any other color.

Either black or blue, whichever color is more easily available.

I almost never write in red, and I can't remember the last time I wrote in green.

I specifically buy pens that are "blue-black" in color.  Not navy blue, but a distinct color altogether.  It's kind of become my trademark among people who know me - if it's written in blue-black ink, it was written by me.

The only pen I've been able to find that's blue-black is a Uni-Ball Vision Elite.  I've probably bought hundreds of them.

I've had the gel ink and the expensive fountain pens that have these ink refills that document certified and all this sort of thing, but I find that the standard average blue ink Bic pen that can one can get at the office store for $2 for about 10 or 20 of them work the best - they write on anything at any time. Smiley

Blue.

I use whatever color the pen is that I first grab, usually.

Anything that will actually be graded or whatever is written on my computer.

Blue almost always, though that's because that's what we usually have around.

Black or blue, whichever is around.

Red or another bright/hard-to-read colour when I have to.

Black, but I don't like using pens-- I prefer typing everything, even minor stuff.

Blue but during Debates I note in four colours; blue, black, red and green and occassionally underline with some fine nib highlighters.
