Knowing what I know now from Donna Brazile as to Clinton's "ownership" of the DNC, I now can say that O'Malley was the "ringer"; the willing stooge to take the fall for Clinton.  Then, Sanders showed up and ruined that plan.

Apparently O'Malley's PAC sent around this article, and once beltway journalists found out about it, well... they haven't stopped tweeting jokes about it yet.

This reminds me of all those "Take Rick Perry seriously" threads in 2014/2015. And my answer is the same: No. We're talking about a guy that got 0.4% of the vote then gave his concession speech in a dimly lit broom closet.

Perhaps, but he was governor of Maryland, so we should take him seriously.  O'Malley (like Webb, Sanders, Chafee, and Lessig) should've been given much more coverage in 2016.

And Rick Perry was the Governor of Texas.
