How would the election have been different if for some crazy reason, Bernie Sanders endorses Donald Trump?

Clinton wins VT by 20 instead of 26. Trump wins the NPV by 1-2%. Clinton actually wins PA in this scenario, due to increased turnout from disaffected city D’s who fear Trump has a shot with Bernie’s endorsement.

I would still give Clinton Maine and she would still win the popular vote, but the rest of twenty's map seems to be about right.

I don't see how this happens at all. They may be similar in Trade and some toning but besides that they are vastly different people and i doubt either one would ever endorse the other. However lets say reality is turned off for a second. Bernie endorses Trump. The most obvious result from this is some of Sanders more loyal followers would come to support Trump since Bernie endorsed him. This would obviously hurt Clinton since these people more likely then not still voted for Clinton. I think in the end, Trump would hold onto all the states he held and add New Hampshire, Minnesota, and Maine to his vote. Nevada and more notably Colorado would be closer.

Bernie would have destroyed his credibility by endorsing Trump

Ironically it probably would have helped Trump better if he just refused to endorse or campaign for Clinton

Turnout was up in Philly despite no longer having a black president on the ballot. I doubt Bernie endorsing Trump would have helped him much, but it certainly would not have given PA to Clinton.

What if Elizabeth Warren endorses Dean Heller in 2018?

He'd still get re-elected, easily, but for sure he'd face a Democratic challenger in 2018 and lose a lot of credibility with his supporters.

You mean Bernie would've committed suicide, like the Clintons' other "friends".

A libertarian spouting insane conspiracy theories? now that's surprising.

"Conspiracy theories" often have roots in fact.  I don't believe anything any one source tells me either. But if it makes you feel better:

Bernie would lose all respect he had and would be shunned by Democrats in the Senate. Trump would have won New Hampshire, which he was always close to winning regardless
