At this point I'm almost afraid it will turn out to be a Northam campaign staffer Tongue

Although I certainly don't wish harm to Sen. Paul (nor any innocent person), I also can't feel much sympathy for him considering his policy agenda would deal a far worse blow to the American working and lower classes.

WHERE IN THE KENTUCKY CONSTITUTION DOES IT GIVE THE STATE ASSEMBLY THE RIGHT TO MAKE LAWS AGAINST ASSAULT?! /satire

Seriously, though, I just googled the alleged assaulter and apparently they're an anesthesiologist, which seems... unexpected.

It generally doesn't. In most instances, it's not a rationally calculated move to make your point. It's simply an expression of frustration, likely resulting from that situation, compounding preceding/existing circumstances, and maybe low levels of impulse control (or mental illness).

I'm glad he's okay. It's kinda surprising that this stuff doesn't happen more often. People be crazy.

I don't know. Maybe you should go ask a Republican candidate for US Senate?

"The Warren County property valuation administrator's website lists an address for a Rene Boucher on Rivergreen Lane, which is in the gated neighborhood just east of Bowling Green where Paul also resides.

Boucher is a Bowling Green anesthesiologist and pain specialist who developed a product called Therm-a-Vest, a cloth vest partially filled with rice and secured by Velcro straps that is designed to relieve back pain by delivering heat directly to the areas of the back where most pain is felt."

Sounds like a personal dispute in a neighborhood rather than some sort of LEFTIST SCUMBAG assaulting a fine public servant.

Sounds like a house party with Rand Paul and his doctor friends, and some drunken brawl broke out

If you're referring to Gianforte, he ran for House when that happened.

This happened in Bowling Green, Kentucky, NOT Virginia. Sounds like a personal feud, not a political one, given that they knew each other and it occurred in Rand Paul’s home.

What a terrible week it has been for democrats, once again they attack a legislator close to an important election, once again shady stuff emerges from their 2016 campaign...

So much for the indictments hurting Trump, who isn't even mentioned, meanwhile, five Comey letters for the democrats on this week alone.

Keynesians? I thought they were all dead after the massive rejection of their inflactionary economic policies.
