Oh, broken ribs are extremely painful and breaking 5 ribs is a brutal assault. Unless there was a weapon involved, I don't think it is a felony or a wobbler under Kentucky law, though.

Even if they had a dispute and the doctor hated Paul's politics and thinks he's a jerkoff in private dealings - why attack him as a 59-yr old anesthesiologist looking to sell a product, a resident of a gated community, and one whose daughter is at least an acquaintance of Rand Paul's son?

KY is a mostly red state - wouldn't this guy face some repercussions from the public? What did he accomplish? If it is a personal dispute was this a message to not mess with him and to change his mind I think Rand would be even more resolute in his opinion.

So Paul kept putting a brush pile up on his side of the property line and the violent asshole neighbor didn't like it.  His incompetency at being a man (who burns both arms and their face burning sticks?  children and incompetents) fueled his rage.  Since this thread is clearly for baseless accusations, I suspect when Dr Boucher fell of his bike he got some brain damage.
