No I have not and I can't imagine a situation, baring extreme circumstances, where i will be at one in the near future.

Kinda? I twice chanced upon a trans rights protest near the White House when visiting the U.S., since it was around the time Trump banned trans soldiers from the military. But I didn't participate, mainly because my mother was with me.

Yes, once. It was a march to raise awareness for the Rohingya genocide

Only one big one. A Rubio event in Exeter right before the primary. And a very early Cruz one in Seabrook but that was small since it was 6 months before we voted

I was going to go to that one, at Brown's right? I went to his town hall in New Boston instead. 'Tis a small world.

I attended antiwar (as in anti-Iraq War) rallies and demonstrations when I was in college, but nothing since then.

Many. Almost all fun.

I've been to a Teamsters rally, a couple of Tea Party rallies, an Open Carry rally, several rallies for various minor politicians in my area, and I got black out drunk and booed Trump at a rally he held in Richmond summer of '16.

Good times.

In Russia? Many times. Probably - hundreds... Sometimes - it wasn't funny at all. As in August 1991, during coup attempt....

Yes, to a pro-Israel rally and to a protest against an antisemitic member of the local council. I also wanted to march in the Jerusalem pride parade the year after Shira Banki was killed, but I was not allowed in by the police, presumably because I wore a kippa and had a beard.

Does Pride Fest count?  I was out to eat at a bar in downtown Iowa City and Pride Fest happened to be going on right outside, so I kind of feel like I experienced it.  Also, there was a large protest outside the building I was trying to see Trump speak in last year (never ended up getting in because of fire code ... what a waste of two hours), so again, I feel like I was right in the middle of it.

If a candidate comes to speak is it a rally?

If so then yes, but it was so minor I forgot about it and voted no.

Only at Trump rallies. They were a love fest.

I have been to two marches (women's and earth). I have also been to a lot of rallies for the Indiana Democratic Party, and a lot during the 2016 campaigns. Saw Bernie, Bill Clinton, Hillary (obviously) and a lot of people stump for her. I also went to a few Trump rallies just to experience it. They were... interesting.

Yeah, those things were always going back in high school. Didn't participate, but they were there.

I've been to an anti-Iraq war rally at College, and a George Allen campaign rally where John McCain made an appearance.

I've been at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania, a Jeb! rally in New Hampshire, and a Ted Cruz rally in South Carolina. I didn't bother too much with the Democrats since it seemed like Hillary was going to win the primary and the general.

The joy of trying to weasel up the Labour foodchain meant I've been to about 2-3 general election 'rallies' in 2015; went to an Andy Burnham event in 2015 and to Owen Smith's one in London in 2016. I got offered a chance to volunteer twice for Smith towards the end of the race; but was both on Holiday and didn't really care enough by that stage.

Outside of that I went to the big anti-austerity in the Summer of 2015, and told my friend 'Corbyn is a pretty good speaker, but he's only getting to get 5% of the vote you know...''

I saw him speak in York during the general election, and was temped to heckle about Brexit but I chickened out.
