Northam: 51% (-2)
Gillespie: 42% (+6)
Hydra: 3% (nc)

I'm starting to think Gillespie may not have this race in the bag.

That's a huge swing to Gillespie from their last poll. This actually gives me more hope for Ed.

Their last poll was so out of left field that if this one didnt show a huge swing for Gillespie, I'd be worried about the mental state of the Quinnipiac polling team.

What if Northam actually had a 17% lead a week ago? The exit polls showing him winning the late breakers by a large margin kind of says otherwise though.

That poll was weird.

That poll was weird.

If only the same amount of republicans showed up as was in 2013 then it would had been a 15-17% margin. The last two weeks where republicans became interested in the race probably made that double digit lead go down to 9%.

Quinnipiac corrected its methods at the last minute. They're +17 finding from earlier was clearly never true.

I already had a feeling that R pollsters would be bad this year, drawing an outcome they prefer but which has nothing to do with the reality on the ground ...
