It's probably time for a poll on this one.

Anyway, Gillespie (R) for me, I think he'd be a very competent governor. I could support some sort of watered down Trumpism as long as it's brought by someone like Gillespie (and as long as it's watered down).

Northam, but Hyra’s a cool dude. If I couldn’t have supported a third party in 2013, I would be a Warner 2000/Webb 2006/McDonnell 2009/Allen 2012/Cuccinelli 2013/Northam 2017 voter. Isn’t that an interesting history?

Every single one of these options are terrible. I would of voted enthusiastically for Tom Perriello but since he is not the top of the ticket i guess i will vote for Northam in this or abstain. I do however expect him to pull out a .5-2.5% victory in the end

I would never support Gillespie or the self-described "conservative on fiscal issues and liberal on social issues" Democrat, Northam. And the Libertarian Party is a joke. So, I'd have to abstain. However, if I was a Virginian I would've voted for Perriello.

Virginians who believe in justice and fair representation don't have the luxury of throwing a fit when a unified Republican state government would inevitably turn us into a North Carolina-style illiberal democracy. I support Northam for countless other reasons, but I think at least twice a day about how great it is that T-Mac is there to protect us from the blood-thirsty Republican legislature.

Go Northam... (somewhat unenthusiastically)

Hyra.  Either of the others winning is not something I'm looking forward to at all.

Ed Gillespie. He's competent, respectable, and not a firebrand (despite what the Northam camp says). I hope he can pull off a great upset and get Virginia moving in the right direction.

Northam is an incompetent campaigner, but he's still the Democrat and I think he'll do better in office. So my vote is for Ralph.

Very, very un-enthusiastically, more to make a point about national issues, even though I honestly think Gillespie would be a better Governor...still Northam. Would have been for Gillespie over Perriello, though.

Which would also make me a rare Cuccinelli '13/Northam '17 voter, incidentally.

"Great upset"? The polls show it as barely a Northam lead.
