What effect will the Justice Democrats have on 2018? Will they win seats? Will they run candidates in the 2020 midterms?

On that same note, does anyone know if the rumors are true that Ana Kasparian from TYT is actually running for public office?

I think she’s 100% our. They are endorsing another candidate (I forget who but it’s in the CA-Sen thread)

I doubt they will have much of an impact, at least in terms of knocking off incumbents. It will be fairly easy for incumbent Democrats to portray themselves as sufficiently anti-Trump for primary voters, and I think that his presidency will be the dominant issue of the election.

They technically already have a sitting congressmen with Ro Khanna, so if he wins reelection they hold the seat.

As long as they don't piss themselves and cry about losing the primary and proceed to run as independents or not vote, I'm fine with them running.

Their effect on CA-SEN might make it harder for de Leon to finish second in the primary, which makes it easier for Feinstein to win.
