Well I've read quite a few metal forums thanks to forum rivalries highlighting what the others say so I've seen plenty of cases of metalheads making fun of how people dance at hardcore shows or how hardcore bands are all insanely politically correct obsessed and actually do things like cry on stage.

The difference is I'm acclimated to it so the heaviness and screaming doesn't bother me. Metal does that sort of stuff in completely different ways that I'm NOT used to so I can't tolerate listening to it.
