What office are you running for?  Also wishing you good luck; running as a D in SC will be tough, but it's brave to do and necessary for the good of the country.

Well what would you run on? The standard Democratic positions (For SC), something specialized to South Carolina, or something else? Because this will help in specializing what seat you want to run for.

I'd try to avoid identity politics and the us vs them narrative if you can. If you can understand some of the possible unintended consequences of any typical boilerplate Dem issue then you seem less partisan and more of the people. Then you can tailor your message to independents and even people that default to the other party and how they would be benefitted by what you're selling.
