Name- Nick Stoner (D-OR Class 2)
Ideology: Populist libertarian Democrat with some Bernieceat views
Previous offices held: Representative from Oregon’s 4th Congressional District (2013-2015)
Bio: Nick Stoner was born on July 10th, 1980 in Knoxville, TN. He was known as a rebellious teenager, and eventually founded a band that found great stardom and he toured the country a few times but started getting really into political debates, so eventually he decided to run for Congress and beat out an incumbent in the primary with a fiery populist campaign. He won the seat despite all expectations, and somehow became a favorite of a lot of different groups due to his varying views. He was popular in Congress, both in terms approval rating and having people to hang out with. He decided to run for Senate in 2014, and he was very progressive for his time so he was expected to narrowly win a bid against former Senator Gordon Smith (R-OR), but ended up defeating him by around six points in a GOP Wave year. He famously smoked a blunt in front of the crowd after attending a town hall with a resident who kept telling him to repeal net neutrality laws and saying “memes should be banned”.
