Biden’s new book, “Promise Me, Dad”, comes out on Tuesday.  Post any comments you have on either the book itself or anything that comes out of his book tour in this thread.  Here’s a list of events for the monthlong tour:

Biden’s also doing a bunch of TV on Monday, including appearing on all four hours of the Today Show:

and then on Colbert on Monday evening:

As Biden's book tour begins, he says that he wouldn't have taken Clinton's place on the ticket last year....but also criticizes her campaign:

I'm making the drive up to Chicago for the one there. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

What's deeply troubling about Biden statements is that he's gone around the country proclaiming himself as a champion of women, yet bashes the women who broke the glass celling. Biden is the same man who during the senate judicial hearing repeatedly attacked Anita Hill claims about being sexual harassed by Clarence Thomas. This man acts all self-righteous when he's no better then other scumbags on both sides of the aisle.

We can do better in 2020.

Biden took his book tour to The View today, where he had this moment comforting Meghan McCain over her father's cancer diagnosis:

Who wrote Biden's book for him?

Update: went, nothing about 2020 was mentioned (wasn't expecting it, but yeah)

Regardless, I'm becoming increasingly suspecting that Biden will run in 2020. Seems to be laying down a lot of groundwork.

In that PBS Newshour interview, Biden claims he advised Sanders not to associate with a Super PAC in 2016:

I guess that means no PAC for Biden if he runs in 2020 (though he already has one right now)?  Tongue

Biden spoke at the LA Times Ideas Exchange yesterday, mentioning potential 2020 presidential candidates Garcetti and Winfrey:

Biden wrote it himself. It's primarily a personal account of his son's death. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you didn't know that.
