As much as I get tempted to start to believe Jones might actually win, the fact that 10 years ago the state voted in favor of keeping Jim Crow language in the constitution makes me think that unless Jones starts soaring way ahead in the polls, Moore is still slightly favored.

If Jones is elected, we have an actual, mainstream Democrat from Alabama.
If Cobbs was elected, we'd have a DINO to the right of Manchin.

Putting aside the validity of the yearbook signature, that woman wasn't even the only accuser. There seems to be a decent number of people from Etowah County who have confirmed that Roy Moore was known back then for chasing after teenage girls, which means this whole narrative that he is a pedo did not just materialize out of thin air. It reminds me of the Hollywood pervert rumors, where you have these guys running around copping feels and begging women to come back to their hotel rooms, only to go ignored for many years. Then suddenly it becomes a scandal because someone blew the lid off of it in a very public way, and many of whom who were either harassed or knew details come forward because they no longer feel like there is any risk in doing so.
