FF.  If we were Supreme Court Justices, we'd often disagree on reasoning, but concur in the result of decisions.

He's probably a lot like me when I was a young liberal Democratic activist.  Like the younger Fuzzy Bear, he probably can't wrap his mind around the reasons why "the people" don't all buy into the kind of left-liberalism that the most leftish elements of the Democratic Party serve up.

He's certainly got an FF signature.  He doesn't post on the forums I tend toward, but I'll give him an FF on credit.

FF.  The type if Democrat that made the Democratic Party the party of reason, once upon a time.  Like, when Frank Church was in the Senate!   Wink

I suppose I'd like him better in real life than on the forum, in that he'd interject a well-placed one-liner right about the time somebody at the staff meeting was stifling passing gas.

When I was 19 I was probably just like this guy.  When I was 19, I was an activist Democrat on Long Island actively working for a Democratic sweep.

I remember at 19 crying when my State Senate candidate lost.  Afterward, I remember getting quite drunk and cursing out Eugene McCarthy, whose presence as a write-in candidate was threatening Jimmy Carter's lead in NY (he won 51-48 in NY).  Ah, to be young again, but with the wisdom of age.  Life, unfortunately, doesn't work that way.

The statement represents the ideals that conservatism ought to hold to.  In real life, it doesn't seem to be working out that way.

He has potential to be an FF, but he's not there yet.  He's not in the ProudModerate2, Invisible Obama, Arch, Solid, Doctor Imperialism camps, however, so there's hope.  I do miss his Bernie:  THE SAVAGE sig.

One of my faves.  FF to be sure.  We have a like-minded view on those whose thought processes are paralyzed by Political Correctness.

He IS one of the Baddies.  An HP to the core.  Intellectually dishonest, he typifies the illiberal left.

Still, he's better than ProudModerate2 and ag.  That's a low bar, but he made that one.

This, btw, was a great way to celebrate my 10,000th post.
