The military has moved on the broadcaster ZBC and according to AP, multiple explosions have been heard in the capital. Seems like something is happening.

Given what happened earlier this month, it's more like a counter-coup against Grace Mugabe.

Yes it looks like the military is installing the sacked VP as President a little ahead of schedule.

Successful coups usually occur with little more than a whisper and unconfirmed reports of sporadic gunfire and tanks in the streets. The loud ones are usually the ones that fail.
