. . . After respondents were nudged in that direction. Still cool, though.

Quote
In 2012, Fischer won her election for U.S. Senate by a 15-point margin, but the upcoming
election is looking to be closer. In a hypothetical election matchup, Fischer (42%) was
leading against Democrat Jane Raybould (31%). After being given Democrat Jane
Raybouldís background and asked again who they would vote for, Raybould leads: 38%
said they would vote for Raybould and 35% said they would vote for Fischer. Once they
were presented with Raybouldís background, the number of independents who said they
would vote for her went from 38% to 51%. A large majority (71%) of Nebraskans donít
yet know who Raybould is. . .

Quote
Key findings from the survey include:
- A majority of Nebraskans (58%) think those with a business record of building
coalitions, staying within a budget, and creating jobs are better able to solve
problems in Congress. Only 21% said they think those who have been there for
several years and know how to get things done within the system are better able to
solve problems in Congress.
- Nebraskans want a Senator who will bring balance to Washington. 52% of voters
said they want a Senator who will provide a check and balance on some of Trumpís
more controversial plans and policies.
- Voters believe that Fischer does not mainly look out for the interests of regular
Nebraskans. 45% believe Fischer has changed and mainly looks out for Washington, D.C. interests and her political party, and only 33% believe she looks out for regular Nebraskans.

Holy...

The Democrats are really recruiting all of the right candidates for 2018. I doubt Jane will win in the end but she has the potential to make Fischer run for her money.

She could be this cycle's Kay Hagan.

Garbage poll, but it wouldn't surprise if the Democrats held every Class I Senate seat in 2025, LOL.

I think Barrasso can sleep soundly. Well, unless Prince upsets him. You know what they say: can't bench the Prince.

Prince vs. a Heidi Heitkamp clone would probably be competitive. And knowing Republicans, they would likely lose that race in the end, lol.

All the WYDEMs would have to do to make that one competitive is run some high-profile rancher with a handlebar stache and a cowboy hat.

This poll should make Fisher and every other "safe" republican sweat a little. Trump's unpopularity is showing extremely dangerous effects for them.

Guys.

Only 73% answered either Fischer or Raybould.

She's fine.

The fact that Fischer only has an 11 point lead against an unknown that can be completely annihilated by talking about her opponents background in a standard addy way should be deeply troubling to republicans. This doesn't look like a toss-up, but it should be troubling all the same.

That was in NC's OTHER seat, Hagan won Helm's seat.

Also if Alabama can go, what's stopping the rest again? We see how 2010 turned out after Scott Brown after all.
