There is one significant difference in their spouses.  I can't see Billy Boy ever doing commercials like Bob did.

More significant than the sexual assaulter/non-sexual assaulter, adulterer/non-adulterer or the war hero/non-war hero parts?

You forgot another thing:

Both ran and won as carpetbaggers to Senate for expediency. Though Bowles wasn't flawed like Lazio...indeed Bowles would've won '04 if Kerry made it over the line.

Both also ended their careers on a loss caused by emphasis on character assassination rather than policy disagreements, even if one was a landslide and the other was a win negated by technicalities.

Although I did say that Dole won a Senate seat in North Carolina and that Clinton won a Senate seat in New York.

And Dole was originally from North Carolina.

To be honest, these coincidences are cool, but you can find these kinds of similarities between almost any two people.

I would be delighted to see this many significant similarities between two prominent or well known individuals.

Please give them to me.

True, but given how far away from it she was, it'd be like if Hillary had suddenly jumped back to Illinois after all that time in Arkansas.
