Governor Feingold?

Sadly no, but you will see Feingold's name mentioned in this story at some point Wink

I'd actually think Indiana stays D.  Donnelly is one of the few Senate Democrats who's managed to keep himself above water.

Personally I think he stand a good chance for re-election, but he has to lose in this TL for it to make a bit of sense.. But since I'm assuming you're from Indiana, who do you believes gonna win the GOP primary? I think Rokita may.
If you're going to have Donnelly lose here, Messer is the more sane one.  Rokita is another Mourdock waiting to happen.

While Messer is the safer choice, either he or Rokita would be favored barring a dramatic Trump collapse, Donnelly losing in a primary (unlikely) or Rokita facing a scandal of some sort (possible).

I'd honestly, in terms of this TL...and in general trade Donnelly losing for Manchin losing. Which means Donnelly wins re-election and Manchin loses to either Jenkins or Morrissey.

Don't you put that evil on me!
