I can see Colorado in play.
But it would look strange that the Democratic Party nominates two (more or less) Southern whites, while the GOP nominates a Hispanic and an African American.
Cruz, being half Cuban-American on his dad's side and barely conversant in Spanish, is for all practical considerations a White Texan who happens to be the son of a Spanish-speaking immigrant. None, Hillary probably would've won the Electoral College outright.
