Star Trek v Star Wars

Prefer Star Trek myself.

The odd thing is that 20 years ago or so I definitely enjoyed watching the original trilogy of Star Wars more than I did watching the Original Series of Star Trek. Today it is the other way around. Opinion of Star Wars has decreased with (my) age.

I am still going to see every new Star Wars which comes out though.

TLJ has pushed me in favour of Star Trek which is something I thought I wouldn't ever say.

I've never been into either franchise (I'm not into that kind of stuff) but Star Wars has gotten really bad (the originals and the prequels weren't exactly great but they were watchable, but after seeing how terrible episode VII was I decided not to watch the movies released after that), Star Trek at least seems to be better written with a more interesting universe and story, so I'll go with Star Trek.
