Mitt Romney -

Very favorble.

He is brilliant, incisive, perceptive, sagacious, trenchant, veracious, ardent, ebullient, eloquent, charismatic.

A natural leader.

He inspires confidence.

He motivates others to reach their full potential.

Once in a generation, destiny calls a great leader.  Perhaps, in 2008, that leader will be Mitt Romney.

I think you have a man-crush on Mitt Romney.

I'll try to ignore that "in poor taste" remark.

What makes you sure the new views are the fake ones?

As governor of Massachusetts, a certain politician supported wages and hours legislation, opposed child labor, imposed economic controls during World War I, favored safety measures in factories, and even worker representation on corporate boards.

That politician was Calvin Coolidge.

He faked his positions so he could get elected governor.  He campaigned as a moderate and socially moderate/liberal Republican.

Now that he will be running for president he has changed his social views to align with the Religious Right.

I liked that comment better when it had the smiley next to it.  Now it looks like you were genuinely angered, which I find hard to believe.

So you mean he's like Mark Warner, just reversed?

No, of course not "angered."  However, your remark had no "smiley", so I thought maybe I shouldn't use one either.

Here you go.  Smiley

By the way, deep down, I think you're actually a closet Romney fan.  Smiley
