Let's assume only these three candidates had run for president in 2016.
What would the map look like?

Johnson (reluctantly - but he is the lesser of the evils presented here)/Johnson

I hate misreading things. I voted Johnson/Stein but meant to vote the reverse.

Johnson and Castle would take Republican votes while Stein would take Democratic votes.

I thought Stein would gain more support. Did she say something wrong? Does she have any strange positions?

I can't tell if you're serious, but her positions are indeed rather strange. Look up her views on Wifi or homeopathy.

Also her history with dodging vaccine questions, seemingly to avoid admitting she doesn't support them. Also the support she was given by RT.

I would have supported Castle but I think Johnson would win because he'd win the vast majority of more moderate voters, while Castle would win the Tea Party and Stein the BernieBros.

Okay, razze and Texarkansas. Now I understand why so many people think that the American Greens are left to the German Greens.

It's not that they're super left-wing (although they are), it's more that their party is full of nutjobs like Jill Stein.

Johnson/Johnson. He'd win over most center-left-to-center-right voters, which make up the majority. Even though my views are probably closer to Stein I think she's a little weird so I'd support Johnson, as I actually did in the general election.

To be "fair", RT only supported her to undermine the Democrats. No Democrats in the picture, no Russian support for Jill Stein.

Johnson is the only person in this poll remotely competent to exercising the authority of the office of President, and also the only one with any governing experience whatsoever, so he gets my vote by default. And he's also the most mainstream (/least kooky) ideologically so definitely wins.

The difference is that the David Brock propaganda machine wasn't going after Gary Johnson.

I'd vote for Stein because she has some good ideas and her kookyness is less frightening than the kookyness of Johnson and Castle, but I'd expect Johnson to win by painting Stein and Castle as kooky.

Oh yes.  We would already have needed one 17 years ago.

Al Gore isn't TN, Al Gore is DC.

I mean Lamar Alexander or John Bell. #REPREZENT1N
