LaVar Ball (D-CA)/LaMelo Ball (D-CA) – 58

Since the theoretical Ball/Ball ticket is from the same state, they are constitutionally ineligible to win CA's EVs.

Technically, they only lose the Electoral College votes of either the Presidency or the Vice-Presidency.

I imagine California's Electors would reluctantly go LaVar Ball/Mike Pence.

They wouldn't vote for Pence, they'd probably go for some other Democrat (or several). The DC ones too since LaMelo will be 19 in 2020. I included him as VP only because LaVar would no doubt pick one of his sons.

Which, mind you is also illegal, because it violates a law about appointing relatives to government positions.

I think it applies only to cabinet posts and not to the VP slot since you are electing the Vice President and it doesn’t mention it in the constitution.

Probably all states but California, Maryland, Hawaii, Massachusetts, and maybe New York due to him being a joke candidate.
