GF didn't fail, the creator simply didn't want a Part III.

Anyway, since I haven't seen Wander (yet), I'm going with Gravity Falls on this one.

Honestly the introduction of Ford kinda ruined Gravity Falls for me. Not to mention that the finale was a mess, IMO.

I’ll admit, I preferred the somewhat-less-linear, happy-go-lucky, episodic style of the first season.
