Summary:

The goal of this bill is to raise money for Police Body Armor and Body Cameras and demilitarize local police.

Section 1 creates a trust fund to pay for police body armor and body cameras.

Section 2 requires local police to audit and turn over unnecessary surplus weapons for public auction which will demilitarize local police departments and raise money for better body armor and cameras.

Section 3 relates to how payments are made from the Trust fund.

Sections 4-7 authorizes a commemorative token program to raise money for police body armor and body cameras.

Agree with the amendment, I think we might already have body cameras (or at least I tried to propose it a couple of times before), that being said good bill overall.
